Le Creusot

A fabulous time was had by the band at the Blues En Bourgogne Festival in Le Creusot this weekend.Pat and the band were joined on stage by Gerry Donahue of 'Fairport Convention','The Helecasters','The Gathering'and so much more on a rendition of 'Garbage Man' and some traditional tracks.
Pat,Gordon and Paul entertained the crowd with a blistering set of favorite tracks and the whole event ended with a 'jam' with Gerry and the 'Taste' guys.
Thanks to Laurent,Fabrice and all the guys involved in such a great night,which was set in the beautiful courtyard of Chateau Verrerie on a blissful Summer's evening and most of all to all the fans that made the evening a special event.

Pat and a bit of Trad

Pat will be doing a few appearances with friends over the Summer playing some Traditional Music.Firstly on the 6th of July he will be joining his friend Jim McGrath at the Cobblestones in Dublin,then he will join his pupil and All Ireland Winner Sean Magee at the Ballyshannon Trad and Folk Festival on Sunday 1st August @ 1.30pm,finally on August 19th he will join another friend Larry Nugent in Cavan(venue TBA).Pat guested on all their albums,and if you'd like to see Pat in his 'alter-ego' and you like a bit of Traditional Irish Music,please come along.

Rory Gallagher International Festival Ballyshannon

Hi Everyone

I am off this evening to the Unveiling Ceremony in Ballyshannon of The Rory Gallagher Sculpture.It is indeed a great honour for me to be invited personally to this event as a life-long fan of Rory.
The Pat McManus Band will perform as per usual at The Gables sometime after 2-3pm on Saturday 31st and I look forward to seeing everyone there and having a real good,rockin'time.

Scorpions Support Shows

An awesome time was had supporting the Scorpions in France.Thankyou to all those involved in putting this together for the band and special thanks to the 'Scorpions' and their crew for all the help.Extra special thanks to Seb,Remy,Flo,Alain and Marie-France for all the help you gave us personally.
It was especially great meeting and chatting to friends old and new after the show,we'll see you all soon and thanks for the tremendous support.

Work has now began on solo album number three,with a projected release in Winter 2010

Frankfurt Music Fair

The band had a great day out at the Frankfurt Music Fair on March 24th,during their recent tour.The guys would like to thank Harry and all at Framus/Warwick for the invite.
Pat,Paul and Gordon also met up with lots of fellow musicians,including old friend Bernie Marsden and Matthais Jabs from the Scorpions who asked Pat to sign a guitar!Gordon also also tied up an endorsement deal with Duesenberg for a new bass.
